The Baileys head back to Paris today and will fly back home tomorrow. We’re sorry to see them go.
We need a few more provisions so we head to the larger supermarket about 15 minutes from home. I first stop at the customer service desk to get a discount card. It takes a little bit of back and forth French for the lady to understand what I want but I get it. The place is huge so it takes a while for us to gather up all we need. Bart wants to make Brie baked in puff pastry but we can’t find the puff pastry. He asks me to ask the lady at the desk where we can find it. I say “She didn’t understand me when I asked for the discount card; I’ll never be able to ask about puff pastry!” So no Brie in puff pastry for us!
The Franks make a delicious salad and a chicken and pasta dish for our late lunch. It was delicious!
